Once upon a time..

Over the weekend we stayed with Karlheinz and Krystal! They live in a refurbished castle in Dortmund. This property is private and includes a park, tennis courts, and a pretty court yard in the middle. The park has many huge trees that our as old as the castle!

The castle is to the left in this picture and the houses are on the right. The houses are refurbished from the old horse stables from along time ago. I can't remember how old it exactly is, but I do know the castle dates back to the 1300's! 

Sunday afternoon we rode the to top of this tower! We saw the whole city of Dortmund from way up high! We had lunch and enjoyed the view. It took me a little while to get use to the revolving floor, but after a while it was fun!

The apartment we are staying at is pretty much in the middle of this picture! I think it is a little bit before the second church steeple!  

Today we just did a little walking and shopping around the city. We discovered a new mall that is a little farther away than what we are use to! We are resting up for our last week here! Oma and I are having to get an extra suit case to take home all our special treasures we have found! We still have lots of places to go and people to see! Postcards are going in the mail tomorrow :)
